Early Career Teaching and Mentoring Award

I’m honored to have been awared the CSU College of Natural Sciences Early Career Faculty Excellence in Teaching and/or Mentoring Award! Most of the credit must go to my students as it’s impossible to be a good mentor with lousy mentees.
I was unfortunately not able to attend the award ceremony on November 18th due to some require research project travel, but my wife Heather was there to receive the award on my behalf. Here is a picture of her with CNS Associate Dean Simon Taverner, and picture of the award plaque in my office.
